Under a private ruling Shelfcom has received from the Australian Taxation Office (“ATO”), Shelfcom is able to obtain ABNs for selected shelf companies which we can provide our clients with.

The ATO reserves the right to take up to 28 days to provide a new company with an ABN and GST registration.

By acquiring a shelf company from Shelfcom with an ABN a client’s company can commence operations immediately and legally issue invoices with GST added. (GST cannot be charged without an ABN).

Our shelf companies with an ABN only come in the “professional” package format and cost $915.00 to include our cost of obtaining the ABN.
