What is a “Shelf Company”?

A “Shelf Company” is a company that we have incorporated already. It is on the shelf so to speak, waiting to be acquired. We take particular care in choosing the names and on many occasions clients choose one of our names rather that thinking up a name for themselves.

Our shelf companies are guaranteed by Shelfcom that they have never traded whilst with us and we give a certificate to that effect.

The advantage to clients is that they know their company name and its Australian Company Number (“ACN”) immediately.

We do not charge any extra for a shelf company and they are available in our “Professional” or “Standard” company package.
