This is a company that acts solely as the Trustee of a regulated superannuation fund within the meanings given for such companies by the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993 and its Constitution must prohibit the distribution of its income or property amongst its members.

Such companies qualify for a reduced Annual Fee payable to the ASIC at present being $36.00 compared to $212.00 for a “normal” proprietary company.

Shelfcom’s standard Constitution for such companies complies with the abovementioned ASIC requirements.

The Superannuation Trustee Company may be provided in either our "Professional" or "Standard" format.

There are no additional costs for such a specialist company and our fees are as per those for proprietary companies.

It is important to remember that a Superannuation Trustee Company can only act as the Trustee of a Superannuation Trust. It cannot carry on business or trade on its own account. For such a company just tick the box for such on our standard order form.
